Giving Day Challenges

“First Downs” First Hour Challenge (12:00 – 1:00 a.m.)

President William M. Downs will add $1,000 to the cause that receives the greatest number of donors in the first hour of the 24-hour day.

President’s Power Hour (6:00 – 7:00 a.m.)

In honor of Campbell’s sixth president, Dr. Downs will add $1,000 to the cause that secures the most donors during the sixth hour of Campbell Giving Day.

“Count Downs” Last Hour Challenge (11:00 p.m. – Midnight)

Dr. Downs will add $1,000 to the cause that raises the highest dollar amount during the final hour countdown.

1887 Donor Challenge ($1887)

Here’s your chance to make a memorable impact with your gift to Campbell! The school, unit or team with the most donors will receive an additional $1,887 towards student scholarships.

Double Your Impact!

On Campbell Giving Day, Bob and Barbara Whiteman will match every gift to the Fund for Campbell, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000! Donations up to $2,500, per donor, will be matched 1:1.

School of Engineering Challenge ($10,000 match)

The Campbell School of Engineering is teaming up with Mertek Solutions of Sanford, N.C. for Campbell Giving Day. Mertek will match every gift to the School of Engineering’s annual fund, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000.
